Adrian FernsAthletics Coach
Adrian Ferns attended Narbonne High School, where he played baseball and football. After graduating in 2008, he attended Pasadena City College, where his team won a bowl game with a winning 8-3 season; after transferring to LA Harbor College, he was on a ring-winning team. He then moved up to Chowan University in North Carolina, where he played linebacker/fullback, broke the school's all-time rushing record, and was on the team to bring the school its best record since becoming an NCAA Division II institution. As a professional football player for the CAFL in China, he was one of the league's top rushers. Adrain is heading into his second year of coaching with Mirman with a Positive Coaching Alliance certification. He coaches co-ed flag football, boys basketball, and assists with track & field. Last year he had to take the Spring season off to play professional arena football with the Philadelphia Soul where he was a rookie of the year contender. He began his Mirman coaching career in 2017, and has earned the certification of Double-Goal Coach: Coaching for Winning and Life Lessons certification through the Positive Coaching Alliance.
