Aileen M. Level

Upper School History Teacher

Aileen M. Level has been an educator in the Los Angeles independent school community since 2003, when she first began substituting for Chadwick School in Palos Verdes. Since her career began, she has taught at La Monte Academy (now New Vista School), Brentwood School, Peninsula Academy, Yavneh Academy, and most recently at Sinai Akiba Academy (Lainer School). While her recent experience has primarily been as a middle school social studies teacher, she also has developed curriculum in both social studies and English at some of her previous schools. She holds an interdisciplinary M.A. from NYU, where she studied in a bilingual French/English program incorporating history, sociology, and political science. She also holds both a master's and bachelor's degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
