Dr. Jay FischUpper School Science Teacher
Jay Fisch obtained his Ph.D. in Marine Biology and Ecology from the Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Sciences at the University of Miami, where he did extensive research on the potential for coral reef recovery in the face of climate change. In addition to his research, he taught courses in Coral Biology, Ecology and Conservation and Marine Invertebrate Zoology, and completed extensive teacher training. He holds a M.Sc. in Evolution, Systematics and Ecology from Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Israel, and a B.A. in General Biology from Rutgers University. He enjoys hiking, camping and listening to music with his wife and three children.
