Lauren Arshad is a Los Angeles native who is a proudly self-taught tinkerer and technologist. She previously taught at St. James School in Los Angeles and the Berlin Bilingual School in Germany, and has also consulted on curriculum development for museums, art foundations, and other non-profits. She's passionate about developing new ways for kids to create and make with hands-on tech. When not tinkering in the makerspace, she loves travel, coffee and tea, and spending time with her son Zayn. She holds a B.A. in philosophy from the University of California-Santa Barbara and a M.A. in teaching from National University.
