Simon Darcy

Upper School English Teacher

Simon Darcy has extensive experience as a faculty leader and an administrator, predominantly in London. He began his career in education as a teacher of English at Saint James' Catholic High School in Barnet, followed by positions in the English departments at Aberdeen Grammar School, Aberdeen and Saint Aloysius' College in Islington. He then served for seven years as the Deputy Head of the English Department at Saint Augustine's High School in Westminster, which began his leadership-level faculty experience. He was then the Faculty Leader for English and Modern & Foreign Languages at Sion-Manning Roman Catholic Girls' School in Kensington and Chelsea. Most recently Simon was the Head of the English Department and then Assistant Principal at Capital City Academy in Brent. He chairs the English department at Mirman School.
