Mirman Robotics Teams Bring Home Special Honors

This Sunday, our Robotics teams competed against 32 teams at the 2015 First Lego League (FLL) Los Angeles Regional Championship in La Cañada-Flintridge, CA. After an incredible day of robot games and project presentations, both of our robotics teams took home special honors for Core Values.

Team M Squared Robotics won the Inspiration Award - which celebrates a team that is empowered by their FLL experience and displays extraordinary enthusiasm and spirit.

Team Mirman Robotics won the Team Mirman Robotics won the Teamwork Award - which recognizes a team that is able to accomplish more together than they could as individuals through shared goals, strong communication, effective problem solving and excellent time management.

Led by our Robotics Director Arpa Ghazarian, the Robotics program is a year-round commitment to collaborative learning, project management, problem-solving, and design engineering. Congratulations to all of our team members, Coach Arpa Ghazarian, STEM Director Jeffery Flagg, Mirman Parent/mentor Eddie Shek, Mirman Alumni/mentor Arjun Mahajan, parents, and volunteers.

A special thanks to Mr. Craig Fine and his team for streamlining space in the ID Lab with paracord and pulley-hanging practice tables for the Robotics team!
