Mirman's Spring Fair Was Simply Marvel-ous!
This past Saturday, the Mirman community gathered for our annual Spring Fair. This year's theme was "Mirman Marvels," and everyone got into the spirit with superhero costumes, face painting, and special attractions. The Spring Fair serves as our biggest annual fundraiser, and it really does take the entire "village" - students, parents, and faculty - to pull it off!
Dan Vorenberg, Head of School, remarked:
It was not lost on any of us that this year's "superhero" theme proved to be timely and appropriate as dozens of you transformed our campus into a cornucopia of culinary and carnival-like opportunities for all involved. Indeed, this fair appeared to have something for everyone, from our youngest participants to, shall we say, our more experienced fair goers. I know you join me in extending our thanks to the Fair, Auction, and Raffle Chairs, and the rest of the superheroes who turned this Saturday into something special. Not unlike the Avengers themselves, everyone seemed to have an important role to play and, unlike the Avengers, all of our buildings are still standing at the end of this heroic experience.
Our esteemed Parent Service League President, Mayee Futterman, added:
When I think of all the faces on campus today, it is impossible for me to list everyone who contributed in all sorts of ways. Yet there are the dedicated few who have gone above and beyond the call of duty; who adamantly refuse to be acknowledged; who disappear in the crowd yet wear the "Super M" beneath and step up when the Mirman signal beckons. Yes, you know who you are. We know who you are. You are the real superheroes today. You have our deepest respect, admiration, and gratitude. We love you Mirman Marvels.
Thank you, one and all, for making Spring Fair a run-away success!
