On March 19, several Mirman students competed in the Los Angeles County Science & Engineering Fair. Congratulations to all of our hard-working student scientists and engineers who participated: Hunter B., Xavier C., Benjamin V., Mason S., Siji S., Eli F., Jason G., Turandot S., Kendall M., Matteo P., Sophia E., and Erica E.!

Xavier C. (US2) was awarded First Place in the Ecology (Jr.) category for his project, titled “Radiation Investigation: What’s in YOUR Fish?”! Xavier was also a recipient of the Naval Science Special Award. He is now qualified to compete in the California State Science Fair, and is a nominee for the 2016 Broadcom MASTERS competition, a program of Society for Science & the Public. Good luck to Xavier as he moves on with his project in these competitions!

Additionally, Hunter B. (US2) brought home 2nd place in the Mathematics category for his project, "Fast and Furious Physics." Great job!
