Set in sunny Florida, Camp Guaikinima is a Spanish-immersion overnight camp featuring outdoor and exploration activities for children between 6 and 17 years of age. The students spent time building their Spanish skills as well as their team-building skills, engaging in activities to overcome fears and obstacles, and having a wonderful time out in nature on Lake Geneva.

But don't take our word for it! Our students spent some time reflecting upon their return, and they really say it best.

"I loved the trip! It was a great week and it gave all of us the chance to do something adventurous. They helped me overcome my fears. I am really glad I went on the trip because it also gave me a chance to become better friends with some people. The trip was also educational because we spoke Spanish during the time there. We may have been learning, but it was still fun! This is something I will never forget because it was such an amazing experience." - Leyna A. (US1)

"I feel that my Spanish improved and that the trip was a great bonding experience. I got to know some kids that I otherwise would not know. I also learned many new things such as archery, tubing, and other fun water sports." - Sheila G. (US2)

"With the help of many people, I have done many things that I would've never tried. I spent lots of time with my friends and had the best spring break I possibly could have had." - Katherine S. (US1)

"I felt like the trip was a great bonding experience, and I became better friends with every single person there. I overcame a lot of my fears, with the help of friends and counselors. This trip was so incredible, and I will never forget it." - Katherine A. (US1)
