LEAP

Learning Enhancement and Achievement Program, LEAP, was developed as an opportunity for Mirman School’s highly gifted students to reach their unlimited academic potentials. In keeping with gifted literature, it was designed to answer the highly gifted child’s need for the time to work on projects of their own creation or teacher-led curriculum that is outside of the standard curriculum.
LEAP is an opportunity for students to plan their own schedule twice per cycle. Working with teachers as mentors, they engage in individual or small group learning.

Twice a schedule cycle, students explore special interests, perform research and improve research skills, work for extended periods of time on projects of their own choosing, or meet for individual student-teacher conferences.

LEAP is a defining program of the Mirman Upper School.
