Library in Room 5

Students strengthen information literacy skills by accessing, evaluating and using information from digital and print sources. In alignment with language arts and social studies, students make connections to literature by by exploring themes and multiple perspectives.

By the end of their time in Room 5, students will continue their journey with the following skills added to their toolbox:

  • Display initiative by posing critical questions and investigations beyond the collection of superficial facts during the research process.
  • Demonstrate confidence and self-direction by making independent choices in the selection of resources and information.
