Many Lower School students made a difference through art when a mural they designed came to life at USC.
On Sunday, February 3, Mirman School was host to hundreds of students competing in the Math League local round.
Before the first half of the year zoomed to a close, Mirman students made time to celebrate coding and computer science during Computer Science Education Week/Hour of Code. All week long from December 3 through 9, students in both Lower and Upper School worked both in and outside of technology-related class periods to practice concepts in coding, computational thinking, and more.
The critically acclaimed author of "Everything, Everything" and "The Sun is Also a Star" came to speak to Upper School 3 and 4 English classes this week.
As part of LatinX/Hispanic Heritage Month, Mr. Zelaya and Mr. Granados made a video capturing the immigration stories of Mr. Zelaya's parents.
Next week, Ms. Sullivan will travel to Chile as part of a STEM Ambassadorship.
On Saturday, October 20, the Mirman First LEGO League (FLL) Robotics Team faced off against 22 teams in a practice tournament hosted by our neighbors, The Curtis School.
Getting into the swing of the back to school spirit, our Room 4 Service Learning representatives along with the Service Learning Support committee collected supplies for their buddies at Sylvan Park.
