Mirman School opened its doors to educate highly gifted children in 1962. Motivated by a deep love and concern for these children, Dr. Norman J. Mirman and Mrs. Beverly Mirman began the school with nine pioneering students in their West Los Angeles home.
The atmosphere throughout the school still reflects this feeling of love and respect for the children on the part of the administration, faculty, and staff.
Today, the school is nestled atop a winding stretch of Los Angeles' Mulholland Drive. Mirman continues to distinguish itself as one of the few schools in the country devoted to the education of highly gifted children.
