    Party Book - Classical Music

Join us for an intimate classical music evening, headlined by our own Olivia Kim and Marcos Sedghi on Saturday, March 8, 6:30-9:30 p.m.

The incredibly talented performers will share their craft just a few feet from the audience. Enjoy a relaxing evening with fellow Mirman parents full of good wine, tasty appetizers, and the beautiful sounds of a Steinway piano and a Stradivarius violin.

Olivia graduated from Seoul Arts High School, Seoul National University, the New England Conservatory of Music, the Juilliard School, and earned her Doctorate at USC on a full scholarship. She has won numerous competitions and performed at Carnegie Hall. As a member of the Korean Chamber Orchestra, she has also worked as a professor at Hanyang University and Ewha Womans University. Olivia is actively performing in Los Angeles and is currently participating in the iPalpiti Festival. She plays the Antonius Stradivarius violin of 1708.

Marcos Sedghi attended California State University Northridge with a Master of Music Degree in composition and theory, with a minor in piano performance and conducting. He has composed over 100 orchestral, chamber and solo works with emphasis on jazz and avant-garde classical composition. He has taught piano performance, theory, and conducting, and written several papers and treaties on music history, music analysis, philosophical and pedagogical studies.

All attendees will need a ticket. For kids tickets go to: https://e.givesmart.com/events/yCZ/i/_Auction/tyTc/
